1. All offers whether they be blind offers or final offers and any subsequent grading or estimations we give are the sole opinion of Richard Allen Jewelers only. We do not certify or guarantee the validity of the grading in question. Our assessment of the jewelry is to obtain a fair value we would be willing to pay based on what grading we expect the diamonds and/or merchandise to receive in the diamond marketplace. How other grading labs or diamond traders would grade the diamonds we have no control over and so our grading is our opinion alone.

2. A blind offer does not constitute a promise or guarantee to buy goods at the blind offer price. A final valuation must be determined by physical inspection of the goods in question and we will send our Final Offer by email or fax . At any time before payment is sent, we reserve the right to refuse purchase of said goods and are not obligated to purchase any goods sent in.

3. By sending in your diamonds or jewelry you hereby authorize us to test and assess it's quality so we can give it a proper value for purchase and issue a Final Offer. For diamonds over 1/4 a carat we can only grade them loose and if they are sent pre-set in jewelry we must remove them. This is the only way to determine a diamond's proper carat weight for example, we must weigh it on a scale. The diamond needs to compared to other diamonds for a proper representation of it's color and clarity, we need to place it in a machine to determine it's cut grade, etc. We also reserve the right to test all jewelry items for karat gold and fineness of precious metals if any.
